A majority of Coloradans are unaware of the widespread use of ALPR cameras. Our events are organized with the following goals:
- Raise awareness about the prevalence and scale of ALPR surveillance.
- Inform the public about the dramatic expansion of capabilities in ALPR cameras
- Call attention to the lack of transparency and accountability in the use of ALPR cameras
- Provide materials for coloradans to advocate against surveillance in their communities
