About the Event
Flock Cameras have become increasingly prevalent in Colorado communities. A majority of Coloradans are completely unaware of the widespread adoption of these cameras and the impact they have on our privacy, security, and constitutional rights. This event is designed to raise awareness around these issues and help more Coloradans get involved in writing better legislation to protect our 4th amendment right.
During this event, attendees will gather legally around Flock cameras in public spaces with signs to bring attention to otherwise discreet cameras that have been installed without public notice.
This event is purely educational and awareness focused. Attendees are reminded not to touch, tamper or obstruct the cameras in any way during this event.
Objectives
- Raise awareness about the prevalence of Flock cameras in Colorado.
- Call attention to the lack of accountability in the use of Flock cameras
- Call attention to the lack of transparency in the use of Flock cameras
- Provide materials for coloradans to advocate against surveillance in their communities.
